What makes HSW Floors different?

·         Installers with over 12 years of experience.  Although HSW Floors is a newly formed company, we teamed up with highly experienced installers to provide high quality work.  Our installers have worked for well known custom builders such as Registry Custom Homes and Sotherby Custom Homes.

·         Hand-scraped 3/4” thick oak floors is our primary focus.  While other companies offer several kinds of flooring installations (pre-finished wood, tile, carpet, linoleum, etc.) we feel that being excellent at one specific type of installation allows us to offer a superior product.  Combine this philosphy with our comercial-grade coatings and you’ve got handsome floors that will stand the test of time.

·         Our full-service approach makes it easy on the client.  There’s no need to call in other contractors to finish the “other stuff.”  For HSW Floors clients, we make it easy.  We will move furniture, roll up area rugs, remove the old flooring, remove old base moulding, install new base moulding, paint (or stain) the new moulding, and move the furniture back in.  We also take the time to install protective felt pads for chairs, tables, etc., which otherwise might scratch the new floors.

·         Providing special treatment to clients and the floors.  For every hand-scraped hardwood floor installation we perform (500 square foot minimum), we provide the homeowner with special tools and instructions for the care and maintenance of their gorgeous new floors.  This includes special mops, spray cleaner, and a touch-up kit (total est. value $75.00). 

·         A step above for staircase upgrades.  If you’re looking to upgrade your staircase steps from carpet to hand scraped wood, look no further.  Our experienced carpenter can skillfully replace you staircase treads, risers, balusters, handrails, newell posts, and stair trim.
